The 89er's AAA Hockey Team is the perfect AAA program for spring/summer athletes!

Program Highlights

    MEET OUR COACHING STAFF

    2010 - Jake Hindermann - Played High School hockey for the Sioux City Metros and won back to back Iowa State Championships.  Jake played one season of collegiate hockey.   He is currently Head Hockey Coach for Mound Westonka HS Varsity Boys.  Coach Jake has spent 13 years coaching in the MSHSL.  Prior to Mound, Coach Hindermann spent two seasons as General Manager and Head Coach in the junior ranks for the St. Croix Valley Magicians and the River Falls Renegades in the United States Premier Hockey League as well as a head coach for the past 5 seasons in the Red/Black High School Prospects League.  Coach Hindermann also spent three years as a Goalie Instructor at Staubers Goalcrease. 

    2009 – Competitive Edge - One of Minnesota’s finest hockey training companies. CE has trained several organizations including Andover, Anoka, Edina, Hutchinson, STMA and Wayzata.

    2008 - Jory McWilliams - Graduated from Bloomington Kennedy HS and was a Captain of the Varsity his Senior year. Currently playing for the Tampa Bay Juniors Premier Team in the USPHL. Jory was named to the Southern Division All Star Team for the 2016-17 season. Jory has spent the last three years working for the Minnesota Magicians as a Hockey Camp Counselor and Coaching this past season in the Minnesota Magicians Red Black High School Prospects League.

    Curtis Hansen - Graduated from Prior Lake HS and was a Captain of the Varsity his Senior year. Currently playing for the Tampa Bay Juniors Premier Team in the USPHL. Curtis was named to the Southern Division All Star Team for the 2016-17 season. Curtis has spent the last three years working for the Minnesota Magicians as a Hockey Camp Counselor/Instructor and Coaching this past season in the Minnesota Magicians Red Black High School Prospects League. Prior to that he worked as a Hockey Camp Counselor/Instructor in Eveleth Minnesota for 2 years. Curtis great grandfather Louis Hansen was selected to the 1928 USA Olympic Hockey Team and had 2 great uncles who played in the NHL.  

    2007 - Austin Hill - Graduated from Prior Lake High School where he was a Captain his Senior year. He went on to play three years of Junior Hockey including a season in the Minnesota Magicians organization. Austin has been Coaching for the past 5 years with Ice Edge AAA Hockey and the Minnesota Magicians organization.

     2006 - Eric Adams - Played collegiately at Bethel College. The last three seasons has Coached the Orono Boys Bantam A team to back to back State Championships and a Runner Up Finish this past season.

    2005/2004 - Ross Carlson - Owner Force Hockey Training. Ross has Coached many years at the Bantam and Peewee levels winning a State Championship with OMGYHA in 2010-11 and finishing second in 2011-12. He also led the Mound PWA to a state third place finish.
